Colief Lactase Infant Drops

Description

• Colief is a safe & natural approach to infant colic
• Rather than attempting to treat the symptoms of colic, Colief allows babies with transient lactase deficiency to enjoy their normal feed whilst greatly reducing the digestive discomfort associated with colic
• Colief Infant Drops contain the naturally-occurring enzyme lactase. When added to the babies usual milk, Colief breaks down most of the lactose and makes the feed more easily digestible
• Colief can be safely used from birth onwards and should be used for as long as it takes the infant to "grow out" of its lactase deficiency.The baby should do this by gradually producing its own sufficiency of lactase enzyme as the gut develops - typically at around 3 - 4 months

Directions

Use Colief Infant Drops every time you feed your baby as long as the symptoms of colic persist.                                                                                                                Please read and follow the instructions carefully

If Bottle Feeding

• Make up your baby's usual milk and let the bottle cool to body temperature (warm, not hot) 
• Add two drops of Colief® Infant Drops, shake gently and place in a refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, to allow the Colief® to work. (Do Not keep milk treated with Colief for more than 12 hours)
• Reheat bottle and use as normal

If Breast Feeding

• Try expressing a few teaspoonfuls of breast milk into a small, sterilised container
• Add 4 drops of Colief
• Give this to your baby on a sterilised, plastic spoon
• Continue breast feeding as normal
