Description

• Provides symptomatic relief of coughs and catarrh associated with influenza, colds and mild throat infections without causing drowsiness
• Sugar free and colour free
• A demulcent, antiseptic base soothes sore throats
• Loosens mucous in the bronchial tubes 

Active Ingredients

Each 5ml contains

• Guaipnenesin 100mg
• Cetylpyridinium Chloride 2.5mg
• Sucrose 1.75g
• Purified Honey 0.5g

Directions

• To be taken slowly and repeated every 3 or 4 hours
• Adults and children over 12 years - one or two 5ml spoonfuls
• Children under 12 - not recommended 

Caution

• Do not exceed stated dose, immediate medical advice should be sought even if you feel well
• Do not  take Meltus Adult Chesty Coughs if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients listed
• This product contains glucose, if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product
• Contains Alcohol which can be harmful for those suffering from liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain injury or disease, as well as for pregnant women and children, it may also modify or increase the effect of other medicines
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children

Side effects

The following undesirable effect has been reported following use of this product

•  Stomach disturbances
