Description

• A cough suppressant for the symptomatic relief of dry unproductive, irritating coughs
• Please note due to legal restrictions of this Pharmacy medicine we can only supply one pack per transaction per one month period

Active Ingredients

Each 5ml contains

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromine 10mg

Directions

• Adults, the elderly and children over 12 -Two 5ml spoonfuls up to four times daily
• Children 7-12 - One 5ml spoonful up to four times daily
• Children under 7 years - Not recommended

Caution

• Do not exceed the stated dose
• May cause drowsiness and dizziness. If affected do not operate machinery
• Avoid alcoholic drink
• Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or during a severe asthma attack
• The colouring E124 may cause allergic-type reactions including asthma. Allergy is more common in those people who are allergic to aspirin
• Other side effects may nausea, vomiting, stomach ache or diarrhoea. Due to its sorbitol content the product is unsuitable for use in the case of hereditary fructose intolerance
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if

• You are pregnant or breast-feeding
• You suffer from liver disease
• You are taking any other medicines, particularly central nervous system depressants (those that cause drowsiness)), or within two weeks of taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors including furazolidone, pargyline and procarbazine
• Symptoms persist
• You accidentally take too much
• You experience any unusual side effects
