Description

• Oral solution for soothing effective relief from chesty coughs

Active Ingredients

Each 5ml contains

• Diphenhydramine hydrochloride B.P. 14mg
• Ammonium chloride B.P. 130mg

Directions

• Shake the bottle before use
• Adults, the elderly and children over 12 - One or two 5ml spoonfuls every two or three hours
• Children 6 - 12 - One 5ml spoonful every three or four hours
• Children under 6 - not to be given

Caution

• Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or you experience any side effects
• Do not exceed the stated dose, immediate medical advice should be sought, even if you feel well
• May cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery
• Avoid alcoholic drink
• If you notice any unusual side effects such as stomach upset, headache, drowsiness, blurred vision, ringing in the ears, mood changes, difficulty in sleeping, nightmares, irritability, loss of appetite, difficulty in passing urine, dry mouth, tightness of the chest and tingling, heaviness and weakness of the hands, stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Large doses may cause upset stomach, headache, drowsiness, blurred vision

• During pregnancy
• If you have kidney or liver problems
• If you are taking sedatives, tranquillisers, barbiturates or painkillers
