Description

• Otrivine drops relieve a runny and blocked nose quickly and gently
• They help to open up and clear the nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal secretions and returning the swollen blood vessels to their normal size. The effects start within minutes and last for up to ten hours
• For - symptomatic relief of nasal congestion (including colds), perennial and allergic rhinitis (including hay fever) and sinusitis

Active Ingredients

Drops contain

• Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.05% w/v

Directions

• Always use the instruction in your own product
• Not to be used on infants less than 6 years of age
• For Children aged 6-12 years - 1 or 2 drops in each nostril once or twice daily
• Clear or wipe the child's nose
• Tilt the child's head right back
• Apply one or two Otrivine drops to each nostril

Caution

• Do not exceed the recommended dosage
• Decongestants should not be used for more than seven consecutive days
• If symptoms persist consult your doctor
• If you exceed the stated dose tell your doctor or pharmacist

Do not use Otrivine Child Nasal Drops:

• If the child is sensitive to any of the ingredients of the drops or to other decongestants
• With other decongestants
• If the child has had recent neurosurgery

Consult the doctor before giving Otrivine Child Nasal Drops:

• If your child is receiving medication or is under a doctors care
• If your child has heart or circulatory disease
• If expectant mothers are using Otrivine for themselves

After using Otrivine Child Nasal Drops:

• Occasionally small children may show restlessness or sleep disturbance when Otrivine is used. If this occurs Otrivine should be stopped
• Some children who have sensitive nasal passages may feel some local discomfort when the nasal drops are applied.
• Other side effects are very rare, but those occasionally reported include a burning sensation in the nose and throat, local irritation, nausea, headache and dryness in the nose
• If any of these occur or your child experiences any other side effects, stop using and talk to your doctor or pharmacist
