Paramol Caplets

Description

• Paramol Caplets for the treatment of headaches, migraine, feverish conditions, period pains, toothache and other dental pain, backache and other muscular aches and pains

Active Ingredients

Caplets contain

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Dihydrocodeine Tartrate 7.46 mg

Directions

• Adults - 1-2 tablets during or after meals every 4-6 hours
• Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours
• For coughs - 1 tablet every 4 hours
• Children - not to be given

Caution

• Many products including cold remedies contain paracetamol. Always read the label and do not exceed the stated dose. In case of overdose seek medical advice urgently because of the risk of serious delayed liver damage
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you suffer from alcoholism, kidney or liver problems, if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant

Side effects

• These are rare with paracetamol but should you experience skin rash or other side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist
• Paracetamol taken in high doses may effect the use of metoclopramide, domperidone and anticoagulants including warfarin
• Dihydrocodeine can cause constipation
